Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Denmark is seeking an experienced Air Freight Pricing Specialist to develop competitive pricing solutions, support tenders and ensure pricing reflects market conditions and business objectives. You will work with airlines, customers and colleagues across Sales and Operations to translate insights into concrete pricing.

The role requires strong analytical skills, 4+ years in air freight pricing or related commercial activity, and fluency in English (Danish a plus).

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of relevant professional experience in air freight, pricing or related commercial activities.
• Solid understanding of air freight products, market dynamics and pricing principles.
• Experience with quotations, RFQs, tenders or commercial negotiations.
• Comfort with analyzing pricing information and market data.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with pricing tools/databases.
• Experience collaborating with airlines, suppliers or other stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver competitive air freight quotations, RFQs and tenders with accurate pricing and timely submissions.
• Support implementation of air freight pricing strategy balancing commercial goals and profitability.
• Negotiate rates and service conditions with airlines and suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with airline partners, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market developments, capacity, rates and trade lane opportunities to inform pricing decisions.
• Maintain tariffs, pricing databases and tools; identify process improvements.
• Share knowledge and guide colleagues on pricing matters and continuous improvement.
