For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for a SW Engineer - Matlab/Simulink.

At department Climate we are responsible of making a comfortable climate and secure good air quality for the car occupants. Our systems also support other components with cooling and heating to create optimal conditions for increased efficiency. We design the complete climate system as well as develops the software for controlling all parts.

The Refrigerant and Heating Software team's objective is to control the AC system to deliver a set temperature asked by other systems. The team exists of Software Engineers that are used to have a wide variety of tasks, from designing and implementing to testing and fault tracing. Even if all Software Engineers handles a wide variety of tasks each of the team members has certain areas where they have a deeper understanding, from control experts to programming and test equipment experts. This make the team strong and it's a good team for sharing and getting knowledge.

We are looking for an professional software engineer that has experience in designing, developing and testing climate and/or thermal systems. It is important to be a good team player but we also expect you to be self-driven not waiting around to get assignments. You should have good knowledge in development tools such as Matlab Simulink and have experience in C++. We also value if you have previous experience in conducting tests in climate chambers. What we expect from a professional software engineer with experience in climate/thermal system is a person that requires very little support before being up and running contributing in driving the product forward.
