Job summary

Teton, a Copenhagen-based health-tech startup, seeks an experienced Frontend Engineer to own customer-facing features from first conversations to production. You will work across web, mobile, and APIs, talking to care staff and shaping the product with strong UX sensibilities.

Expect to collaborate closely with design and success teams, improving tests, CI/CD, and overall frontend quality. The role requires presence at our Copenhagen office and a bias for action in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience building production web applications.
• Strong TypeScript skills: this is the language for everything we build.
• Solid production experience with React on the web and/or React Native.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing, and a strong sense of what good code quality looks like.
• Great product taste and a keen eye for UX. You work well with designers and can make sensible design decisions yourself when needed.
• Comfortable talking directly with non-technical users and turning messy feedback into concrete decisions.
• Previous startup experience and/or shipping a product where you owned the outcome, from idea to adoption.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend features end-to-end, from design discussions through implementation to production rollout across web, mobile, and APIs.
• Talk to care staff and customer success weekly to translate feedback into product changes.
• Improve code quality, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and scalable frontend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with backend teams on APIs and data models needed for features.
• Prioritize privacy and safety, with robust access controls and auditability.
