Job summary

FLEXeCHARGE is seeking a Founder Associate to work closely with our CEO in Copenhagen, owning the People function and the Copenhagen office while helping steer the company through its next scaling phase. You will split time between strategy with the CEO, people operations, and culture, turning decisions into actions and shaping how we hire, onboard and develop our team.

This is a hands-on role that values ownership and rapid learning in a climate-tech context.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in a fast-paced startup/People ops role.
• Ownership mentality: you take ownership, move quickly and close loops.
• Structured thinking: break down messy problems and come back with a clear recommendation.
• Excellent organisational skills and discretion with confidential information.
• Comfort with data and tools: spreadsheets and slides, automate repetitive work.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Danish or German preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & execution with the CEO: co-design our next scaling phase.
• Own alignment: prepare leadership, management and all-hands meetings, capture decisions and close actions.
• Lead strategic projects end to end, backed by research and a clear recommendation.
• Support the CEO: prepare board and investor material, manage priorities and stakeholders.
• Lead recruitment end to end and build a scalable hiring process.
• Be the go-to for People questions on contracts, leave, benefits and policies.
• Run the review and development cycle, including remuneration talks.
• Keep People admin running: payroll for Denmark and Germany, employee handbook, AMO and compliance.
• Turn our values into everyday practice through onboarding, recognition and internal updates.
• Organize events and workshops, from Friday bars to company dinners.
• Keep our Copenhagen office welcoming and running.
• You’ll have regular development talks with the CEO to decide direction.
