Pandektes is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own our numbers as we scale. You’ll run a tight month-end close, get our SaaS revenue accounting airtight, and build the finance processes that let us grow fast without drowning in manual work. This is a hands-on role based in Copenhagen HQ, responsible for accuracy and integrity of financial information, while collaborating with senior management, providers, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercially focused accounting roles, ideally as Financial Controller.
• Danish accounting qualification (or equivalent, e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Hands-on experience with subscription and deferred revenue, including month-end reconciliations.
• Proven track record of leading month-end close and producing management accounts.
• Experience with intercompany balances and reporting across international subsidiaries.
• Exposure to international tax, VAT and transfer pricing, and local audits.
• Strong internal controls, segregation of duties and fraud risk awareness.
• Experience driving finance operations in a scaling business with a love for systems.
• Sharp eye for detail and strong analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close and deliver accurate trial balances and statements.
• Ensure SaaS revenue is recognised correctly and reconciled to billing and GL.
• Produce reliable monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
• Take over revenue billing from sales and run it within finance.
• Oversee outsourced service providers and review reconciliations.
• Design and maintain financial policies, controls, and approval limits.
• Oversee AP, AR and cashbook, manage payments and working capital.
• Lead statutory accounts and external audits, and oversee VAT and corporate tax.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting across Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
• Improve finance processes, systems and automation; build a small accounting team over time.
