Job summary

Spring Family ApS is seeking a Financial Controller who can combine financial rigor with a clear business sense, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role covers controlling, monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and improving processes.

You will work across multiple units, automate finance tasks with Power BI and Excel, and provide financial sparring for the business while ensuring data quality and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• A relevant higher education in finance/economics, e.g. cand.merc. or an HD.
• Experience from a similar role as Financial Controller, auditor, or consultant.
• Experience working in ERP systems, as well as strong skills in Power BI and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and financial follow-up across several business units.
• Preparation of monthly reporting, as well as participation in forecasting and budget processes.
• Optimization and automation of finance processes with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Preparation of audit material, as well as contribution to the annual financial statements.
• Conducting ad hoc analyses and reporting to the CFO, management, and other stakeholders.
• Sparring with the business and handling ad hoc tasks across the organization.
• Financial advice and professional sparring for colleagues in the finance department.
• Responsibility for reconciling intercompany balances and intercompany transactions across the group.
• Participating in the development and strengthening of internal controls and financial processes.

As Financial Controller at Spring Family, you will have a central role in the company's Finance team, where, alongside your fixed tasks, you will help develop and optimize internal processes and ensure high data quality. You will have a varied and flexible everyday life, offering high professionalism and pace. The position is business-oriented but also includes more classic operational tasks, where there is time to get into the numbers. You will report to the company's Finance Manager, with a focus on both sparring and development.

Your main tasks include:
