Rumli is seeking a Finance Manager to rethink bookkeeping workflows and scale finance operations as we grow in the Nordics. You’ll partner with software engineers and the operations team to shape the future of finance in property management.

You will reduce manual work, improve automation, and drive financial accuracy across reconciliations, payroll, and VAT. This role is ideal for a systems thinker who wants ownership in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration – ideally in property management or related industry.
• Experience with legacy bookkeeping and workflows, with opinions on smarter finance processes.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and structure.
• Systems thinking and willingness to improve processes, not just follow them.
• Comfortable with IT systems and adopting new software like e-conomic.

Responsibilities

• Be a core part of the team, improving financial workflows and internal systems alongside operations and product.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, ensuring automations work across reconciliation, vendor invoices, payroll and financial administration for managed properties.
• Ensure financial accuracy through balance sheet reconciliations, payments, VAT handling, and monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts.
• Identify repetitive or inefficient workflows and help the product team decide what to automate next.
• Operate at scale using modern tools and automation to manage a growing portfolio.
• Support the business by designing reporting, budgeting, onboarding/offboarding of properties, and ad hoc finance tasks.
