Gebr. Heinemann is establishing a new legal entity in Rødby, Denmark, to operate ferry routes and border shops.

The Head of Controlling & Finance (m/f/d) will be based in Rødby, with hybrid work options, reporting to the Managing Director and acting as the local business owner for finance and IT topics in collaboration with HQ. You will ensure high-quality financial reporting, partner with local management, drive performance, ensure compliance, and translate data into actionable insights for

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
• Several years in Controlling, Business Analysis, or Corporate Finance in international/operational environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for finance, controlling, and local IT activities at the entity.
• Act as trusted business partner to local management and HQ Controlling/IT functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with HQ standards.
• Analyse performance and provide actionable insights to improve business steering and analytics.
• Ensure high-quality data, compliance, and documentation per policies and audit standards.
• Lead and develop the local team with a focus on collaboration and excellence.
