Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
European Energy seeks a senior FP&A professional to lead data-driven decision making with AI tools. You will build dashboards, automate finance processes, and anchor AI-powered insights into budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting. The role collaborates across international teams to turn numbers into strategic actions.
You drive value through AI-enabled analyses, challenge budgets, and support the group with clear, actionable recommendations in a fast-growing renewable energy environment.
Be the person the project teams call before every big decision. Let AI do the heavy lifting, so you can spend your time where it counts: challenging the numbers and shaping the outcome.
European Energy is a growing company in the renewable energy sector. We are a privately owned Danish company founded in 2004, with our headquarters in Copenhagen. We develop, construct, and operate solar (PV), onshore wind and hybrid BESS projects globally, as well as Power-to-X projects. We are present across the full renewable energy value chain from development to operations and asset management but are also very active in M&A to recycle capital into new activities. Our core values form the foundation of everything we do: In It Together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.
FP&A owns the financial management framework within European Energy: the financial data warehouse, project controlling, budgets/forecasts including performance management, management reporting, group business plan, inputs to investment decisions and capital allocation. We are a team of 12, international and informal, and we already use AI every day. Now we are making AI the way we work, not a side tool. You report to Anders Lykke Jacobsen, VP, Head of FP&A.
You build, analyse, and solve. With modern tools and AI doing the heavy lifting, you bring the direction, judgement, and drive that turn numbers into decisions.
You are a sparring partner for the business, someone who points attention to what matters and helps get it solved.
We are now more than 930 employees with 47 nationalities represented in 21 countries, and we are growing rapidly in both Copenhagen and across our global offices. We all work for our common goal to be a leading partner in the green transition and to create The Power of Tomorrow, Today.
Our working environment is built on mutual respect for the varied strengths and talents of our employees, with a flat hierarchy and a culture that encourages initiative and innovation. Our employees value our flexible working culture, permitting better reconciliation of work and personal life. We are a team, whether it is in the workplace, on our company trips or during our weekly company training sessions. At European Energy, you will work with colleagues from around the world and become part of a collaborative international network.
At European Energy, our leadership culture is built on six guiding principles that shape how we collaborate, make decisions, and grow together. These principles help us act responsibly and empower each other to succeed.
