Job summary

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to lead financial planning and administration for the CCY and YDR consortia from the Sana’a office.

You will oversee budgets, sub-grants, and donor reporting, ensuring robust internal controls and risk management while aligning with donor requirements and DRC policies. Strong leadership and English proficiency are essential to support consortium coordination and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of financial management experience in humanitarian or development organisations.
• Proven experience managing large, multi-donor budgets and consortia.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and oversight across the CCY and YDR consortia, ensuring alignment with donor requirements.
• Oversee financial controls, budgeting, forecasting and reporting; consolidate donor reports.
• Lead preparation and quality assurance of budgets, proposals and financial reports for the consortia.
• Manage sub-grants, partnerships and financial due diligence in coordination with partners.
• Provide risk management guidance and strengthen financial performance across funded activities.
