Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC/DCS and SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Hands-on site experience with E&I installation and commissioning.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Commission, service and repair gas analysis, flow measurement and dust monitoring equipment on site.
  • Troubleshoot automation system issues, provide guidance during commissioning and post-startup.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and vendors during installations and handovers.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and operations teams.
  • Document work and write reports for each customer visit.

In this role, you'll work across multiple core service areas in Automation. You'll be a hands-on, trusted technical resource for our customers – commissioning equipment, troubleshooting issues, and helping keep cement running smoothly.You'll receive thorough formal training and on the job with experienced colleagues.**Your Responsibilities:**Gas Analysis & Emissions Monitoring (Airloq)* Commission, service, and repair gas analysis, flow measurement, and dust monitoring equipment, ensuring customers get maximum value from their equipment.* Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify recurring patterns, and contribute to improvement projects.* Train customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance.ECS/ControlCenter* Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance on ECS/ControlCenter and other automation systems, both during commissioning and after plant startup – on-site or remotely.* Diagnose and resolve automation system issues to minimize downtime and keep plants running at their best.* Support system upgrades, retrofits, and performance optimization at customer sites.* Provide technical support, training, and handover documentation to customers and operations teams.Site Installation & Commissioning (MCS)* Supervise electrical & instrumentation (E&I) installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site.* Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and our head office throughout a project.* Support PLC/DCS and SCADA/HMI programming, testing, and commissioning.* Participate in cold and hot commissioning, plant start-up, load trials, and optimization.* Inspect equipment on site, advise customers on storage and protection of Fuller-supplied equipment, and flag quality issues.* Provide ongoing service and troubleshooting support for MCS systems after commissioning, including remote troubleshooting where on-site presence isn't required.Across All Areas* Act as a trusted, service-minded point of contact for customers, communicating technical matters with confidence and integrity.* Document your work, write clear reports for every customer visit, and maintain accurate technical records.* Help identify upgrade, retrofit, and service opportunities during customer engagements, supporting our Service, Project, and Sales teams.* Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and regulatory compliance in everything you do.**What You Bring:*** A technical background as an electrician, automation/instrumentation engineer, marine engineer, or similar – or a Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.* Experience with PLC/DCS and SCADA/HMI systems (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider); familiarity with Fuller Automation's ECS Control Center is an advantage.* Hands-on site experience with E&I installation and commissioning is a plus.* A structured, service-minded approach: able to keep an overview of a project from execution to reporting, and comfortable supporting projects, sales, and suppliers with technical input.* Strong communication skills – fluent English, spoken and written.* Willingness to travel for customer visits, commissioning, and on-site support.*As an equal opportunity employer, Fuller Technologies embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
