Job summary

Fives Intralogistics in Copenhagen is seeking an External Center Engineer – Field Technician to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of automated intralogistics systems in a dynamic production environment.

You will work independently and with the team, monitor performance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and ensure operational continuity by reporting activities in CMMS and coordinating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or automated systems.
• Technical background in maintenance and/or installation of automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; Danish language skills welcome and considered an advantage.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work on shifts (morning, afternoon and night shifts).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on automated systems
• Monitor system performance during production and intervene when necessary to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Support the correct reporting of maintenance activities and data entry into CMMS systems
• Cooperate with the maintenance team to ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the work area
• Support and coordinate operational activities during production phases
• Cooperates with the control room and in any case with the whole team, for the removal of objects that may interfere with system performance and affect its efficiency
• Assist in training and supporting junior technicians when required
