Job-Link A/S
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
We are currently looking for a hands‑on E&I Frontrunner for a large pharma project in Denmark. This role is for someone who thrives on site, close to the equipment, and takes ownership of getting systems ready for commissioning in a GMP environment.
The role
You will be the one ensuring that instruments, signals, and installations actually work in practice before handover to Automation and C&Q. This is not a design role – it is about execution, testing and troubleshooting in the field.
Your responsibilities
- Verify E&I installations (cabling, terminations, tagging)
- Set up and configure instruments on site
- Perform loop checks, signal tests, and troubleshooting
- Support power‑up of MCCs, instruments, and process equipment
- Work with networks and communication (Profinet, AS‑i, Profibus)
- Support Automation during loop checks and commissioning
- Identify and resolve issues directly on site
- Ensure systems are ready for qualification
Your background
- Strong hands‑on experience from E&I installation, maintenance, or commissioning
- Experience working with instruments and process equipment in pharma or similar industries
- Solid understanding of loop drawings, P&IDs, and signal flow
- Familiar with PLC/DCS environments (e.g. Siemens, ABB 800xA)
- Experience working under GMP, permits, and safety procedures
As a person you are
- You prefer being on site rather than behind a desk
- You take ownership and fix issues instead of escalating them
- You are structured when testing and troubleshooting
- You collaborate easily across disciplines (Mechanical, Automation, IT, C&Q)
- You understand the importance of safety, LOTO, and documentation
Practical details
- Location: Kalundborg
- Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
- Start: Preferably 1 June
