Job summary

Pasiflora AI LLC is seeking qualified scientific and technical professionals for an AI safety evaluation project focused on explosives and energetic-materials content. The work is remote on a contract basis, with locations including US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia.

Review prompts, assess safety risks, identify dual-use content, and evaluate technical accuracy. Tier 1 requires a Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant STEM field; Tier 2 requires a PhD or equivalent expertise.

Qualifications

• Tier 1: Bachelors or Masters in a relevant STEM or technical field.
• Tier 2: PhD or equivalent advanced industry or professional expertise.
• Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Explosives Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• Professional experience in energetic materials, explosives, hazardous materials, lab research, or safety may qualify in place of a degree.
• Based in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, or Australia.
• Analytical judgment and strong attention to detail.
• A plus: AI evaluation, safety, or quality assurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1: review AI prompts and model responses.
• Tier 1: classify content as Benign, Dual-Use, or Malicious using project guidelines.
• Tier 1: evaluate and rank responses for safety, and provide clear rationales.
• Tier 1: identify legitimate vs potentially harmful components in dual-use scenarios.
• Tier 2: audit and QA Tier 1 annotations and review complex or flagged cases.
• Tier 2: validate classifications, rankings, rationales, and reference responses.
• Tier 2: ensure evaluations meet scientific, technical, and safety standards.
