Pasiflora AI LLC is seeking qualified professionals for an AI safety evaluation project focusing on nuclear-related content. The work involves reviewing AI prompts, assessing safety risks, and identifying dual-use content.

Roles include Tier 1 annotators and Tier 2 SMEs, with project-based scheduling and fully remote contracts across eligible regions. Tier 1 covers prompt review, content classification, and safety rationales, while Tier 2 conducts audits, validates judgments, and maintains

Qualifications

• Tier 1 requires a BSc or MSc in a STEM/technical field.
• Tier 2 requires PhD or equivalent advanced industry or professional expertise.
• Background in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Physics, Nuclear Chemistry, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
• Experience in nuclear technology, reactor systems, nuclear materials, radiation, nuclear facilities, laboratory research, or nuclear safety may substitute for a degree.
• Based in US, Canada, the UK, Europe, or Australia.
• Analytical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1: review AI prompts and model responses.
• Tier 1: classify content as Benign, Dual-Use, or Malicious using project guidelines.
• Tier 1: evaluate and rank responses for safety, and give a clear rationale for each.
• Tier 1: identify the legitimate and the potentially harmful components of dual-use scenarios.
• Tier 2: audit and QA Tier 1 annotations, and review complex or flagged cases.
• Tier 2: validate classifications, rankings, rationales, and reference responses.
• Tier 2: ensure evaluations meet appropriate scientific, technical, and safety standards.

AI Safety Evaluation Project | Remote | Contract Locations: US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia

We are seeking qualified scientific and technical professionals to support an AI safety evaluation project focused on nuclear-related content.

The work involves reviewing AI-generated prompts and responses, evaluating safety risks, identifying dual-use content, and assessing technical accuracy and responsible handling.

Tier 1 - First-Pass Annotators Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant STEM or technical field. Relevant backgrounds may include Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines. Relevant professional experience in nuclear technology, reactor systems, nuclear materials, radiation, nuclear facilities, laboratory research, nuclear safety, or engineering may also qualify.

Tier 2 - Senior SMEs and Auditors PhD or equivalent advanced industry or professional expertise in a relevant field. Relevant backgrounds may include Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Physics, Nuclear Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields. Strong candidates may have professional experience in nuclear operations, reactor technology, nuclear fuel and materials, nuclear security or safeguards, nuclear safety, national laboratories, government, defense, or regulatory environments.

We value real-world nuclear expertise, analytical judgment, and strong attention to detail. Experience in AI evaluation, AI safety, scientific research, technical review, or quality assurance is a plus. Candidates may qualify through formal education or through substantial industry or professional experience relevant to nuclear science or engineering.
