Job summary

RetailHub Sourcing in Roskilde, Denmark is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. You will construct, install and repair wooden structures and fixtures, reading blueprints and working with hand and power tools.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Roskilde Denmark As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry and be familiar with a variety of carpentry techniques

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine requirements
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials based on blueprints or drawings
• Cut shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings trim doors etc
• Inspect surrounding structures to determine any issues that may affect construction
• Estimate materials required for projects and order accordingly
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and according to safety standards
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Proven ability to read blueprints drawings and specifications
• Proficient knowledge of carpentry techniques including measuring cutting shaping etc
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy materials
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English Danish language skills preferred

Salary 1100$ per month with accommodation provided
