Job summary

Garden & Sazio in Copenhagen seeks an experienced, hands-on Head Chef to take overall responsibility for the kitchens at two independent restaurants, Garden and Sazio. You will work actively in the kitchen, run evening service and raise quality standards for the team.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage two sites, and a hands-on approach to daily operations, menu development, and cost control. Start date negotiable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading professional restaurant kitchens, preferably in a leadership role.
• Wolo active in kitchen operations and service.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
• Solid understanding of kitchen finances and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Daily management and development of both kitchens (Garden & Sazio).
• Active participation in production and evening service.
• Menu development and quality control.
• Leadership, training and development of kitchen staff.
• Staff planning and scheduling.
• Purchasing, stock control and kitchen finances.
• Food cost, ingredient use and waste minimisation.
• Structure, hygiene and safety procedures; delegate tasks to key team members.
