Job summary

Centum Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for electrical engineering projects across European data centres. Take overall responsibility from mobilisation through delivery, leading site teams and managing programme, safety, quality, costs and commercial outcomes with the commercial team.

The role requires 5–10 years of electrical construction delivery experience, strong leadership, and evidence of managing large projects in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering or electrical construction is essential.
• SMSTS or equivalent senior site-management qualification.
• Evidence of leading Construction Managers and Package Managers, protecting commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own mobilisation, scope reviews and programme baselines.
• Lead Construction Managers, Package Managers and delivery teams.
• Own project costs, budgets and forecasts with the commercial team.
• Review weekly tracking against hours, output, materials and costs.
• Capture variations and dayworks with evidence for claims.
• Maintain 12-week look-ahead plans for site progress.
• Drive recovery plans when delivery drifts.
• Ensure IMS, HSEQ, permits, inductions and certifications are applied.
