Job summary

Centum Engineering is seeking a Labour Coordinator to turn client labour demand into on-site personnel. You will mobilise workers, manage starts, and act as the single client contact for numbers, names and dates.

The role involves Dublin and Munster with site visits and hybrid arrangements by agreement. You will coordinate Labour Hire across Engineering projects, ensuring accurate onboarding, travel and replacements, while liaising with Recruitment, Logistics and Finance to maintain a trusted

Qualifications

• Relevant experience coordinating labour for electrical installations or electrical engineering projects.
• Strong client communication and the ability to report the true position early, even when news is difficult.
• Proven ability to manage multiple labour requests, starts, approvals and deadlines.
• Understanding mobilisation, inductions, rotations and workforce availability.
• Commercial awareness including purchase orders, payment terms and timesheet approval.

Responsibilities

• Take labour demand from Sales and clients and confirm trades, numbers, skills, start dates, location, rotation and induction requirements.
• Give recruiters clear requirements and deadlines and track progress, flag gaps early.
• Ensure candidates are onboarded, presented and cleared for induction.
• Send signed-off candidate packs to clients, book inductions and secure approvals.
• Maintain accurate demand views, travels, starts and actions; provide 08:00 start-of-day updates.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation and transport with Logistics; confirm weekend travel.
• Set up onboarding with Finance and manage timesheet processes and payment terms.
• Plan demobilisation and redeployment to optimise workforce movement.
• Keep records current in the system so all teams use the same data.
