Job summary

Vestas is seeking three experienced Lean Specialists to strengthen our Production Excellence capabilities in Europe, with two positions based in Aarhus, Denmark, and one in Szczecin, Poland. You will partner closely with factories to apply Lean and Production System methods, delivering measurable improvements in manufacturing flow.

The role requires solid Lean knowledge, production excellence experience, and a track record of coaching teams in complex environments. Travel up to 100 days a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field.
• Proven experience in Lean, Production Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt is a plus.
• Experience in wind, heavy engineering or complex manufacturing industries is highly relevant.
• Experience with manufacturing flow, logistics, NPI or ramp-up is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply and embed the Vestas Production System and Lean methods.
• Lead Lean and Production Excellence initiatives for flow, waste reduction, performance.
• Coach lean methodologies with factories and engineering teams.
• Manage cross-functional improvement projects and NPI workstreams.
• Use structured problem solving for complex operational challenges.
• Define material flow standards for new product ramp-up and warehousing.
• Support Lean assessments, KPI reviews and action tracking.
