Job summary

C&D Foods (Denmark) A/S invites an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead CAPEX and engineering projects across the site in Esbjerg. You will drive technical development, ensure safe delivery, and manage budgets while coordinating with Production, Quality, and external partners.

The role focuses on CAPEX investments, plant performance improvement, and sustainability goals, contributing to operational excellence and a strong One Team culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification within Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar discipline.
• Proven experience managing engineering or technical projects within a manufacturing environment (food production industry valued).
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Experience with CAPEX management and contractor coordination.
• Strong IT and project management system skills.

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for engineering and continuous improvement? Join C&D Foods (Denmark) A/S as our new Engineering Project Manager and take the lead on CAPEX, engineering, and optimisation projects across the site.

In this role, you will drive technical development and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget—supporting operational excellence and the future growth of our business.

About the Position

As Engineering Project Manager, you will lead technical projects from concept to implementation, working closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to deliver safe, high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

This is a key role in driving technical development, process improvements, and operational excellence across the site while supporting a strong One Team culture. You will play an important part in delivering CAPEX investments, improving plant performance, and identifying innovative solutions that support the site's future growth and sustainability goals.

Your key areas of responsibility:

• Delivery of projects on time and within budget
• Successful implementation of CAPEX initiatives
• Reduction in downtime and improvement in equipment reliability

Examples of tasks could include:

• Project Management & Technical Leadership: Lead engineering and CAPEX projects from concept to implementation, ensuring technical improvements, operational reliability, OEE optimisation, and effective coordination of internal and external stakeholders.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP, and HACCP requirements, including risk assessments and contractor management processes.
• Financial Management: Manage CAPEX budgets and deliver projects within agreed financial parameters.
• Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Drive process optimisation, energy efficiency, and Lean initiatives, support sustainability goals, and foster effective communication and strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.

Candidate profile

• Relevant engineering qualification within Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or similar discipline
• Proven experience managing engineering or technical projects within a manufacturing environment (experience from the food production industry is highly valued)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Financial and commercial awareness
• Experience with CAPEX management and contractor coordination
• Strong IT and project management system skills
