Job summary

C&D Foods is seeking an Engineering Planner for its Esbjerg site. You will plan and coordinate maintenance activities across site assets, collaborating with Engineering, Production, and external partners to ensure efficient planning and resource readiness.

You will contribute to asset management, CMMS administration, and continuous improvement while upholding HSE, GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements. Danish and English proficiency is required.

About the Position

As Engineering Planner, you will play a key role in planning and coordinating maintenance activities across our site in Esbjerg. Working closely with Engineering, Production, and external partners, you will help ensure efficient maintenance planning, resource coordination, and continuous improvement across the site.

Your key areas of responsibility

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
• Asset Management and CMMS Administration
• Stores and Resource Management
• Health, Safety & Continuous Improvement

Examples of tasks could include

• Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across site assets.
• Develop maintenance schedules, prioritise work orders, and ensure all required resources are available.
• Coordinate contractor activities and equipment upgrades
• Maintain maintenance and asset records within the CMMS system
• Monitor maintenance backlog, track KPIs, and generate performance reports
• Coordinate the availability of spare parts, materials, contractors, and specialist services for planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements
• Support Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to improve operational performance

Candidate profile

• Relevant engineering qualification within Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Maintenance, or a related discipline
• Experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing, FMCG, or similar environment
• Experienced knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes
• Good understanding of maintenance and engineering activities in a production environment
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and stakeholders
• Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and verbal
