You’ll mentor engineers, drive hiring, and stay hands-on when appropriate, ensuring engineers can own problems end-to-end while delivering high-quality outcomes for Ashby users and partners.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience coaching ICs and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to own both people and technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a European engineering team under Ashby’s culture.
• Coach engineers, balance ownership with delivery, and avoid bottlenecks.
• Influence product and technical decisions while staying hands-on when needed.
• Lead hiring and promote a meritocratic, transparent pay system.
