Job summary

Performativ is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead enterprise rollout of our SaaS platform from kick-off to go-live and hyper-care. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including product, engineering and data migration to enable scalable, standard integration patterns with customers.

The role requires 7+ years in delivery-focused leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a bias for scalable, repeatable delivery. This in-office position is based at our Copenhagen office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in program or engagement management, consulting, product management, or another delivery-facing role.
• Comfort being firm with customers on scope and timeline while maintaining relationships.
• Experience with enterprise customers (banks, asset managers, regulated industries).
• Structured and organized with written plans, governance cadences, and actionable reporting.

Are you a delivery leader who knows how to guide enterprise customers through complex set-ups without over-engineering the journey? Do you care deeply about building scalable, repeatable SaaS delivery rather than one‑off custom projects?

At Performativ, we’re building the infrastructure layer for modern wealth management. As our Engagement Manager, you’ll lead the enterprise rollout of our SaaS platform helping customers onboard successfully through structured delivery, clear communication, and lightweight technical engagement.

This is not a professional services consulting role. You won’t be buried in endless customer‑specific code or heavy customizations. Instead, you’ll work cross‑functionally to help customers adopt our product the right way: cleanly, securely, and in line with platform best practices so they can scale on top of us, not around us.

What You Will Do

• Own enterprise set‑up programs end to end (kick‑off through go‑live and hyper‑care) against an agreed plan and scope (Statement of Work).
• Enable customers to integrate Performativ via standard platform patterns (APIs, SSO, configuration) without custom buildouts, working with product and engineering to flag gaps early and advocate for scalable paths.
• Own plan, scope, and change control, keeping scope tied to contract and change visible and decided rather than quietly absorbed, and support the Technical Program Lead on requirements, design documents, and acceptance‑criteria sign‑off.
• Run customer communication, cadence, and governance with reporting that keeps meetings short, and manage risk, dependency, and issue tracking (including customer‑side).
• Lead a clean handover to Customer Success at go‑live or hyper‑care exit, including train‑the‑trainer sessions and supporting materials.
• Represent the program in internal capacity and exception reviews, bringing requests the plan cannot absorb back as options rather than committing on the spot.
• Build repeatable playbooks, documentation, and artefacts that make the next program faster. You will be measured on this, not only on your own delivery.

How You Will Work

You will run multiple programs at once, in a delivery pod alongside the Technical Program Lead, Integration Engineers, Data Migration Specialists, and Product Engineers. None report to you. Rather you get things done through clarity and relationships, not authority. You will report to the COO. This is an in‑office role based at our Copenhagen office.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in program or engagement management, consulting, product management, or another delivery‑facing role, with a track record of leading complex, multi‑stakeholder implementations end to end.
• Comfort being firm with customers on scope and timeline while keeping the relationship stronger for it.
• Any industry background welcome. Experience with enterprise customers (banks, asset managers, regulated industries), balancing urgency against long‑term maintainability highly advantageous.
• Structured and highly organized, producing written plans, governance cadences, and reporting that stakeholders can act on.
• Broad technical literacy across enterprise SaaS delivery: API‑based integrations, SSO and security configuration, and data migration and mapping, including enough SQL to read and question a mapping. You do not build the integration, but you understand it well enough to scope it, question it, and know when something does not add up.
• Ability to build working fluency in the customer's business domain fast: within 90 days, able to discuss topics such as advice and suitability workflows and customer reporting without a subject‑matter expert in the room.
• ITIL Foundation, PMP or PRINCE2 Certification would be beneficial.

Technical Fluency

• You’re not, necessarily, a developer, but you’re comfortable with APIs, data structures, auth flows (OAuth/SAML), and deployment models.
• You can dive into logs, payloads, and basic SQL or Python when needed to unblock yourself or a customer - but you prioritize scalable fixes over tactical workarounds.
• You advocate for platform‑aligned solutions, not special cases.

What This Role Is Not

This role sits in operations, not engineering or commercial, and is project‑based: once delivery is complete, you roll on to the next engagement. As a SaaS provider, we do not build bespoke software; delivery works within the bounds of the product.
