Job summary

Terma Group in Denmark is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in embedded C++ to work on radar system software close to the hardware, including ARM microcontrollers and Linux environments. You will design and implement software, contribute to architecture, write automated tests, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable code.

Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus, and experience with ARM, Linux, and low‑level development is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with C++ development and embedded software, preferably ARM-based platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux, software design, architecture and maintainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Developing embedded software for ARM-based microcontrollers
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining software primarily in C++
• Designing clean, maintainable software and contributing to architectural decisions together with the architecture team
• Work with both existing codebases and new development projects
• Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with the team to share knowledge
