Overview
Location: Initially Copenhagen.
Company: A leading engineering services company with over 130 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler and Fire Protection, alongside services such as Waste to Energy, Specialist Lift, Off‑Site Fabrication, Technical Support, Maintenance, Asset Management, BIM and Geo‑Surveying.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field‑based quality inspections and verification of electrical installations.
- Perform line walking activities and system walkdowns throughout construction and turnover phases.
- Verify installations against approved drawings, specifications, single line diagrams, method statements and client standards.
- Complete installation qualification inspections and associated quality documentation.
- Review and manage electrical test packs and turnover documentation.
- Verify cable containment, cable installation and termination activities.
- Verify installation of switchgear, distribution boards, UPS systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Support electrical testing, commissioning and turnover activities.
- Complete quality workflows and inspection records within project management and commissioning platforms including CXAlloy.
- Coordinate quality inspections with construction, commissioning and subcontractor teams.
- Identify, record and drive closure of defects and non‑conformances.
- Participate in benchmarking and first‑of‑a‑kind (FOAK) installation reviews.
- Attend quality meetings with project management, construction and subcontractor teams.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company and client health & safety requirements.
- Support implementation of project inspection & test plans (ITPs).
- Assist with client inspections, witness testing and system handovers.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering degree, electrical trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience within electrical construction, commissioning, QAQC or related site‑based engineering roles.
- Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, schematics, layout drawings and vendor documentation.
- Knowledge of MV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS systems and electrical distribution infrastructure.
- Experience with electrical completion, turnover or commissioning activities desirable.
- Experience with cable containment, cable installation and testing activities.
- Experience within data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or mission critical projects advantageous.
- Experience using CXAlloy, BIM360, Dalux, Procore or similar digital quality platforms desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
