Novo is seeking a Director of R&D IT Architecture to lead a team of architecture specialists and set the technology direction for Research & Development. You will shape a shared architectural vision across applications, platforms and data, enabling scalable foundations and AI-enabled capabilities for drug discovery and development.

Qualifications

Master’s or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering; biology plus IT experience welcomed.
Proven leadership of architecture teams and strategic roadmaps.
Strong knowledge of cloud, APIs, data, and AI-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the R&D IT architecture sub-function and translate AI ambitions into priorities.
Set direction and communicate a shared architectural vision across apps, platforms and data.
Build roadmaps and align governance, architecture processes, and strategy.
Oversee ~10 architects and contributors, guiding delivery and standards.
Shape AI and innovation initiatives leveraging current and new tech.
