Job summary

Oddin is expanding its esports data infrastructure in Aarhus and Prague. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to own deployment environments, scale systems, and support 24/7 data feeds across our teams.

You will collaborate with developers in Aarhus and the wider Oddin.gg group to ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure, deploying Docker-based workflows on GitHub Actions and AWS.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Strong Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipeline, SQL, and Java skills.
• Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Fluent in English able to discuss complex infra with local and international stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with ability to improve reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Systems reliability: Plan and implement reliability improvements to our existing systems.
• CI/CD & Automation: Maintain and optimize our Docker-based deployment workflows on GitHub Actions and AWS.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Manage our SQL databases (MySQL) to ensure data integrity and high availability for our clients.
• Collaboration: Act as the DevOps link between Aarhus team and Oddin.gg infrastructure team.
• On-Call Support: Participate in a rotation to ensure 24/7 data feeds remain operational.

DevOps Engineer (Mid to Senior)

GameScorekeeper delivers real-time esports data to industry leaders like DraftKings and PrizePicks. Following our 2025 acquisition by Oddin.gg in Prague, we’re entering an exciting growth phase and looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us.

You’ll help scale and optimize our high-performance infrastructure while supporting our integration into the broader Oddin.gg ecosystem - playing a key role in powering esports at a global level.

The Challenge

As our DevOps Engineer, you will take full ownership of our infrastructure and deployment environment. You’ll collaborate closely with our development team in Aarhus and the wider engineering group in Prague to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and built for growth.

Your focus will include

• Systems reliability: Plan and implement reliability improvements to our existing systems.
• CI/CD & Automation: Maintain and optimize our Docker-based deployment workflows on GitHub Actions and AWS.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Manage our SQL databases (mainly MySQL) to ensure data integrity and high availability for our clients.
• Collaboration: Act as the DevOps link between GameScorekeeper’s Aarhus-based team and the Oddin.gg infrastructure team.
• On-Call Support: Participate in a rotation to ensure our 24/7 mission-critical data feeds remain operational.

Our Idea of You

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a DevOps role or equivalent.
• The Core Stack: Strong proficiency with Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions/Bitbucket Pipeline (or equivalent) SQL, and to some extent Java.
• Automation: Knowledge of deployment tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
• Communication: Fluent in English; you’re comfortable discussing complex infrastructure with both local developers and international stakeholders.
• Proactive Mindset: You are able to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and scalability.
