Job summary

DEIF A/S is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to develop, secure and optimise platforms and infrastructure for our global R&D. You will drive automation, strengthen security, and enhance CI/CD with IaC and AI-driven solutions.

Based in Skive or Aalborg with the flexibility of remote work, you will collaborate across developers, architects, cybersecurity specialists and IT to enable secure, scalable software delivery. AI usage is an integral part of daily work.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Proficient with container tech (Docker) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiar with IaC (Ansible) and security tooling.
• Experience with AI integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and optimising CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Automating development processes with Ansible (IaC).
• Ensuring development security with DependencyTrack/DefectDOJO.
• Monitoring performance and ensuring seamless builds with Zabbix.
• Collaborating with teams to define future CI/CD needs.
• Staying updated on security, server environments, and automation.

As a DevSecOps Engineer at DEIF, you will help develop, secure, and optimise the platforms, tools, and infrastructure that support product development across our global R&D organization. Working closely with developers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, and IT, you will drive automation, strengthen security, and enhance our CI/CD environment through modern DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AI-powered solutions.

You will work with technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, cloud services, and server environments while helping shape the future of software and hardware development at DEIF.

With direct report to the Department Manager, DevSecOps & Tools,

you will work within a dedicated team focused on supporting the smooth development process across DEIF's product portfolio. With the above-mentioned objectives and responsibilities. The use of AI is an integral part of our work, so a proven use of this is essential.

Your Main Tasks Are

• Maintaining and optimising CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and their associated runners
• Automating development processes to improve overall efficiency using tools such as Ansible (IaC)
• Ensuring development security and reporting using tools such as DependencyTrack and DefectDOJO
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring seamless builds and integrations like Zabbix
• Collaborating with software development teams to define future CI/CD setup requirements
• Keeping updated on the latest trends in security, server environments and automation

Your profile

You have experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab, and are familiar with container technologies such as Docker. You are proficient in Bash and Python scripting, have experience with Linux and Windows server environments, and are comfortable working with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible.

You actively leverage AI in your daily work and have experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN. Experience with embedded software development is an advantage.

You hold a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and are a proactive team player with a passion for DevSecOps, automation, and continuous improvement.
