Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a Developer Advocate to be the technical face of our API. You’ll deliver real demos, host video content, and engage with developers across communities.

This role is video-first, with on-camera storytelling and scripting, editing, and public speaking at conferences and events. You’ll build compelling demos, champion developer needs, and bring feedback back to the product team while working remotely from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Must be genuinely technical and able to build demos.
• Excellent on-camera presence and strong storytelling.
• Native or C2 English.
• Professional recording setup and editing basics.
• Self-directed with consistent delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be the face on video: host shorts, long-form videos, and webinars.
• Build real demos using our API and review tools.
• Drive developer conversations and get SearchApi into communities.
• Speak at talks, podcasts, livestreams, and conferences.
• Gather developer feedback and relay to the product team.
• Write posts, guides, and example apps that show the API in action.
