Interhuman AI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to shape the developer experience—from the playground to SDK integrations. You will turn complex real-time AI outputs into clear, interactive interfaces that help developers understand, integrate, and experiment quickly.

This hands-on role emphasizes polish, motion, and the feel of a product, working with product, backend, and DevRel to ensure an intuitive experience from day one.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React and Next.js with TypeScript.
• Experience with real-time or streaming data and integrating APIs.

• Own the Playground UI and developer-facing experiences.
• Design onboarding flows from first try to first integration.
• Build SDK examples and reference apps (React, JS, Python) on GitHub.
• Create interactive demos for pilots and launches (sales coach, engagement detector).

About Us

Interhuman AI builds social intelligence infrastructure that makes AI systems capable of understanding human behavior. Our API detects and interprets behavioral signals like hesitation, engagement, confusion, interest - across voice, facial expressions, body language, and words. Unlike emotion AI, we focus on observable behaviors and their meaning in context, not internal feelings.

Developers integrate our infrastructure to build applications that respond to how people actually communicate: the pause before an answer, the confusion in someone's expression, the engagement in their voice. We're deployed in sales training platforms and enterprise learning systems, where understanding human behavior transforms outcomes.

We're now looking for a Frontend Engineer to shape how developers experience Interhuman - from the first interaction in the playground to integrating our SDKs in their own products.

About the Role

You'll own the developer experience layer of Interhuman - the playground, demos, and SDK touch points that make our technology tangible. You'll turn complex real-time AI outputs into clear, interactive interfaces that help developers understand, integrate, and experiment fast.

This is a hands-on coding role and you should care deeply about polish, motion, and how details shape the feel of a product. You'll work closely with product, backend, and DevRel to make sure Interhuman feels intuitive from day one.

What you'll do

• Build and own our Playground - the central interface where developers experiment with our models, configure parameters, and test real-time outputs.
• Design and implement onboarding flows that make it effortless for developers to go from "first try" to "first integration."
• Develop SDK example apps and reference implementations (React, JS, Python) that live on GitHub.
• Build interactive demos for pilots and launches that showcase specific use cases (e.g. sales coach, engagement detector, emotion-aware avatar).
• Integrate frontend with API endpoints and real-time model streams (REST, WebSocket, WebRTC).
• Add refinement and clarity with micro-interactions, transitions, and animations using Motion.dev, GSAP, or similar.
• Contribute to DX tooling and infrastructure - helping shape the workflow for external developers.
• Work closely with DevRel to capture developer feedback and translate it into UX improvements in the playground and SDK.
• Collaborate with product and UX to make every interaction feel modern, confident, and human.

Who you are

• 3-6 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer building production web applications.
• Strong in React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind.
• Comfortable integrating APIs and working with real-time or streaming data.
• Attention to interaction details and design quality (motion, rhythm, spacing).
• Experience with animation frameworks (Framer Motion, GSAP, Rive or similar).
• Excited about building developer-facing products
• Curious about AI and how humans and machines interact.
• Comfortable shipping fast and clean in early-stage environments.

Bonus if you have:

• You've built developer platforms, SDKs, or playgrounds before
• You have experience with data visualization, creative tech, or 3D (Three.js / WebGL)
• You've contributed to OSS projects or maintain your own demo repos.
