Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a Danish partner, is seeking a Freelance Full-Stack Developer with Django and AI integration. The role is part-time, fully remote, about 60 hours per month, and offers autonomy to own features from backend to frontend using Python, Django, and AI services.

You will collaborate with a small senior team, ship production-ready code, and shape the product roadmap while applying modern AI-assisted workflows in a flexible remote setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full-stack development experience with Django
• Strong Python and Django experience; production-ready products
• Experience building AI-powered apps with OpenAI/OpenRouter/Anthropic APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and Git for collaboration
• Excellent English communication; independent work in a remote team
• Frontend basics with HTMX/Alpine.js/Tailwind
• GCP/Azure and CI/CD is a plus

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance Full-Stack Developer | Django | AI Products | Python & LLM Integration based in Denmark.

As a Freelance Full-Stack Developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of an evolving AI-powered product at the intersection of artificial intelligence and marketing intelligence. You will build and enhance full-stack features using Python and Django, while integrating large language models and third-party APIs to deliver practical, high-value capabilities. Working with a small, experienced team, you will have meaningful ownership over your work and the opportunity to influence technical decisions and product direction. You will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted development practices to build clean, maintainable, and scalable solutions. This fully remote, part-time engagement offers flexibility and autonomy, with approximately 60 hours of work per month. It is an opportunity to contribute directly to a live AI product with an ambitious roadmap and room for new ideas.

Accountabilities:

You will contribute to the full development lifecycle, from implementing product features to integrating AI services and improving the codebase, working independently while collaborating closely with a small, senior team.

• Build, maintain, and extend full-stack features for an AI-powered product, primarily using Django and Python.


• Develop lightweight frontend interfaces using HTMX, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS.


• Integrate third-party APIs, AI services, and large language model providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter.


• Connect marketing data sources and incorporate relevant data into product functionality.


• Write clean, reliable, maintainable Python code and contribute to a well-structured, evolving codebase.


• Apply modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate implementation while maintaining strong engineering standards.


• Manage your workload independently, communicate progress clearly, and collaborate effectively with a remote team.


• Contribute technical insights, suggest improvements, and help shape product development decisions.


• Support the continued evolution of the platform by delivering features aligned with its roadmap and user needs.

Requirements:

You are an experienced full-stack developer who combines strong Python and Django expertise with practical experience building AI-powered applications. You are comfortable working autonomously, using modern development tools, and contributing ideas in a collaborative environment.

• At least five years of hands-on full-stack development experience, preferably with Django as your primary framework.


• Strong Python programming skills and a proven track record of building and shipping production-ready products.


• Experience developing AI-powered applications using technologies such as LangChain, LangSmith, OpenAI APIs, OpenRouter, or Anthropic APIs.


• Familiarity with Docker and confident use of Git for version control and collaborative development.


• A balanced approach to software development that combines sound engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted workflows.


• Practical experience or familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code, with the ability to explain how you use them in your daily work.


• Strong written and spoken English, as English is the primary working language.


• The ability to work independently, manage priorities, communicate clearly, and contribute ideas proactively.


• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, CI/CD, or DevOps pipelines is a plus.


• Frontend development skills and a strong eye for UI design and user experience are advantageous.


• German language skills are a plus, particularly for candidates who also communicate fluently in English.
