Job summary

GEA Process Engineering A/S in Søborg, Denmark, is seeking a design engineer in the Engineering & Automation department. You will adapt 3D component templates to customer requirements and produce detailed workshop drawings with BOM for manufacturing.

You will work hands-on from component specification to installation, collaborating with project managers, product owners, purchasing, and commissioning teams, while staying in regular contact with workshops locally and globally.

Qualifications

  • Have background as machine engineer, technical designer or similar.
  • Have good experience within Inventor (3D).
  • Are independent, thorough and structured.
  • Have knowledge and desire to be in contact with workshops that manufacture our equipment.
  • Value cooperation and knowledge-sharing with colleagues.
  • Have full professional English proficiency (Danish is an advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Project-specific design adaptation of our spray drying components via 3D models followed by manufacturing drawings in AutoCad Mechanical (2D) or Inventor (3D).
  • Standardization, optimization and further development of our spray drying components.
  • Procurement / delivery preparation.
  • Preparation of other documentation such as technical manuals, risk assessment, etc.
  • Inspection of components at workshops.
  • Dialogue with the business and workshops for follow-up on projects.
  • Site support (Primarily during installation at site).
  • Supply chain and after sales support.
