Job summary

Mover Systems, a Danish logistics technology company, is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead a team of data scientists and engineers responsible for architecting, deploying and operationalizing advanced ML models that drive our state-of-the-art route planning capability.

You will guide the function's growth, own the data science roadmap, and collaborate with product, engineering and customers to deliver scalable, measurable impact across thousands of drivers daily.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or a quantitative ML field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science or applied ML, with 3+ years in people management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver data-driven product improvements.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in ML tooling and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers.
• Define the data science roadmap and prioritize value for product and customers.
• Guide technical decisions on model selection and feature engineering.
• Translate customer problems into data science workstreams.
• Establish production metrics and dashboards for continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members and maintain high deployment rigor.
