Job summary

Kamstrup in Denmark offers an internship in Data Science where you will work hands-on with meter data and related software to generate insights that support utilities and the green transition. You will explore time series data, apply physical modelling and ML-based approaches, and drive your own project with feedback from colleagues.

The role requires studying physics, engineering, data science, and fluency in English and Danish.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in physics, engineering, data science or related analytical field.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
• Interest in data analysis, physical modelling and potentially ML-based approaches.
• Fluent in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

• Work with geographical, topological, voltage and energy consumption time series data from distributed electricity meters.
• Apply physical modelling, data analysis and potentially machine learning-based methods to real customer data and business cases.
• Explore how meter data can be used to improve understanding of the opportunities, limitations and challenges of the electricity grid.
• Drive your own defined project with continuous sparring and feedback from colleagues.
