Job summary

InCommodities is seeking a Head of Data Platform & Solutions in Denmark to lead a skilled DPS team across data engineering, software development, and architecture. You will translate business needs into actionable data strategies, align technology with commercial goals, and ensure the data platform supports trading analytics and AI-ready workflows.

You will report to the CIO, foster autonomy, and drive alignment across trading, commercial, and Tech teams.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in data/technology/platforms.
Ability to set direction while enabling teams to execute.
Strong commercial understanding and ability to connect tech to business opportunities.
Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
Enough technical grounding to challenge experienced engineers.
Clear, honest feedback and tough conversations.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships across trading, commercial and Tech teams.
Translate business needs into clear DPS direction and roadmap.
Strengthen DPS as a trusted partner for data initiatives.
Lead the DPS team with sparring, feedback, and clear expectations.
Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities across the business.
Help shape AI-ready data foundation across metadata, discoverability, and infrastructure.
