Job summary

Heyra is seeking a Data Engineer to build modern data platforms and pipelines for operational AI.

You will work with engineers, AI specialists, strategists and designers to shape clean architecture and robust data foundations for production workflows. You’ll collaborate across teams to move ideas into real systems and deploy AI-driven solutions in client operations.

Qualifications

• Experience building data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong SQL, Python and API integration skills.
• Experience with data modelling and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with GenAI, ML or MLOps workflows.
• Ability to design scalable data architectures.

Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys building things properly. Someone who can move through complex systems, shape clean architecture and create the foundations modern AI workflows depend on.

You’ll work closely with engineers, AI specialists, strategists and designers in a company where ideas move quickly and the distance from thinking to building is intentionally small.

What you’ll work on

• Building modern data platforms and pipelines
• Creating semantic foundations for AI systems
• Developing AI-powered workflows and agentic systems
• Helping clients move AI into real operational environments
• Working closely with both technical teams and decision makers
• Shaping how modern AI infrastructure is built in practice

You probably have experience with

• dbt, SnowFlake, Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery or similar ecosystems
• SQL, Python and APIs
• Data modelling and warehousing
• GenAI, ML or MLOps workflows
• Complex systems and problem solving
