Job summary

Devoteam Data Driven in Denmark is seeking a Data Engineer with 2–7 years of experience to work directly with clients and help companies gain new insights using a broad set of modern tools.

You will be part of a dynamic team of 60 data experts, building pipelines, platforms, and solutions while collaborating with client teams to deliver lasting value. This role combines hands-on engineering with client contact and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Danish and/or English; strong client-facing communication.

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Work Assignments

The role requires you to be both a hands-on builder and a point of contact for our clients' data challenges. Specifically, you will:

• Build robust data pipelines and models that streamline the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data.
• Implement and develop modern data platforms through DevOps & CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with our clients’ engineers, analysts, & business users to solve business issues and ensure lasting value.

You will learn from our many data engineers with 7-20 years of experience, while taking on a mentoring role for our less experienced consultants.

What You Bring to the Team

Ideally, you have:

• 2-7 years of experience working as a data engineer.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, and/or software development.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving, with a strong interest in how to drive business improvement using data.
• Clear communication skills and the curiosity to engage with clients on projects.
• Experience with some of these technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, dbt, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• A current base near Copenhagen and fluency in Danish and/or English.

• Developed a comprehensive end-to-end data warehouse solution, featuring automated pipelines that structured dimensional data from diverse operational systems for unified analytics for a client.
• Assessed the current data landscape in Novonesis and implemented a new self-service framework to enable business users to utilise the power of the modern data stack.
