Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to support early-stage opportunities in our data center portfolio. You will translate customer needs into high-level, credible solution concepts aligned with validated architectures, while collaborating with Sales, Solution Architects and other teams.

The role emphasizes early-phase solution consulting and value positioning, with final design handled by architects and delivery teams. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in the Data Center industry with exposure to Secure Power, Cooling, and electrical/mechanical installs.
• Experience in customer-facing or pre-sales roles is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Schneider Electric offers (UPS, low-voltage electrical panels, MV equipment, cooling).
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of customer business drivers and decision criteria in data centers.
• Support early opportunity phases shaping solution concepts across Schneider Electric’s data center portfolio.
• Position differentiated value propositions leveraging Schneider Electric’s cross-domain offer.
• Use TVDA architectures to propose high-level solution approaches meeting customer requirements.
• Support RFQ reviews and identify compliance aspects, deviations, assumptions, and constraints.
• Translate customer requirements into feasible solution options without owning detailed engineering.
• Explain and demonstrate benefits like resilience, scalability, energy efficiency, and speed-to-market.
• Coordinate with sales, solution architects, and business units to ensure solution coherence during tendering.
• Support customer meetings, workshops, and presentations as a solution and portfolio expert.
• Maintain awareness of technology trends and data center market developments to enhance solution positioning.
• Promote collaboration among stakeholders involved in opportunities.
