Job summary

BearingPoint Denmark seeks a Data & AI Lead to shape and grow the local Data & AI practice in Copenhagen. You will combine hands-on AI delivery with consulting leadership, mentoring, and market development.

You will lead projects end-to-end, engage senior stakeholders, and translate business needs into pragmatic AI solutions using Azure and cloud technologies. A strong Danish and English communication skill set is required.

About the role:

You will combine hands‑on technicalexpertisewith consulting, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business development. Beyond client delivery, you will be responsible for driving capability development, supporting market positioning, contributing to growth ambitions, and helping define the strategic direction of the Data & AI practice.

In your work you will, for example:

• Act as Competency Area Lead for Data & AI in Denmark, driving capability development, mentoring colleagues, supporting recruitment, and building a strong local Data & AI community.
• Advise senior client stakeholders and translate business needs into pragmatic Data,AIand analytics solutions.
• Lead technical teams and projects from early shaping and solution design through implementation and production.
• Design and deliver AI and Machine Learning solutions using Azure and modern cloud technologies.
• Stay at the forefront of AI developments and translate emerging technologies into measurable business value
• Drive business development activities by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, shaping proposals, leading client presentations, and contributing to sales pursuits.

We are looking for:

You combine a strong Data, AI and Analytics background with consulting, leadership, and business development experience. You communicate clearly, work comfortably with senior stakeholders, and can move between strategic discussions and hands‑on technical delivery. We imagine that you have:

• A strong background in Data,AIand analytic, with experience designing and delivering solutions that create measurable business value.
• Experience delivering AI or Machine Learning solutions, including solutions running in production.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and modern cloud technologies.
• Can engage confidently with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Have leadership experience and enjoy developing colleagues and building strong teams.
• Have a commercial mindset and experience supporting business development and client growth.
• Professional proficiency in Danish and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

As an advantage we see:

• Previousconsultancy experience.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs and related platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock.
• Participation in sales or pre‑sales activities.
• A broad technical background across analytics,engineeringand cloud.
• Experience growing teams, capabilities,a practiceora business area.
• Relevant cloud or AI certifications (e.g. Microsoft Azure or AWS).
• Experience designing and implementing modern data and AI platforms on Azure or other cloud environments.

As the role involves regular collaboration with clients and colleagues in Denmark, we are looking for a candidate who is based in Denmark and able to work from our Copenhagen office on a regular basis. This is a permanent full‑time position.
