Job summary

JENSEN-GROUP Mezcada team in Odense seeks a DevSecOps professional to secure our SDLC and automate security workflows. Join a hybrid cloud/on-prem platform (Azure-based cloud, balenaOS on-prem) and help scale security across a growing data platform for industrial laundries.

You will automate compliance, manage credentials, and contribute to security testing and platform automation with Python and Terraform while collaborating with a small, autonomous team.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a DevSecOps role or other hands-on security role.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, CI/CD, Python programming, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with compliance, stakeholder management, and governance.
• You work independently, methodically, and know when to ask for help.
• You thrive in an environment where not everything is defined up front and where direction may change as we learn.

Responsibilities

• Apply DevSecOps principles to secure our SDLC (shift-left security), so our developers can deploy securely without becoming security specialists
• Automate SBOM generation and help shape our vulnerability management processes
• Drive compliance (NIS2, CRA, SOC 2, etc.) and automate evidence collection
• Automate security, e.g. certificate/credential lifecycle and token workflows
• Broad security testing from coordinating penetration tests to writing tenant isolation tests
• Submit pull requests to the platform monorepo, e.g. Python scripting, Terraform coding, and documentation

Join us in creating Mezcada, the next-gen data platform for industrial laundries to positively impact energy consumption and boost performance around the globe.

At JENSEN-GROUP, we offer a unique opportunity to be a key part of keeping our platform secure as we increase the installed base.

Our platform is hybrid cloud and on-premises, where the former is Azure-based and the latter is running on balenaOS (Linux). Our software is built and released on GitHub Enterprise.

The team currently consists of three software engineers, a cloud engineer, and a data engineer. We work on-site in Odense and follow our own version of Shape Up, which offers and requires a lot of freedom and influence.

What you’ll be doing:

Mezcada is the JENSEN-GROUP’s next-generation data platform for industrial laundries worldwide, a hybrid edge/cloud system that gives laundries full visibility into performance, bottlenecks, and energy consumption. It provides the data foundation needed to predict maintenance, optimize flow, and make better decisions on the laundry floor.

That said, you don’t need experience with industrial systems, SCADA, or MES. In fact, we’re looking for someone who brings a fresh perspective and dares to question the assumptions the rest of us might take for granted.

The platform uses distributed edge computing and is continuously delivered to customer sites on-prem, as well as to the cloud for analysis and support. Machine and sensor data is collected and made available through well-designed APIs, both to the customers and to the frontend applications.
