Job summary

Maersk Customs Services is looking for a driven and inspiring Operations Manager who will ensure the operational running and management of the offices belonging to the Danish region.

As Customs Operations Manager Denmark, you will have strategic and organizational responsibility for the business area within your region and will be part of the Nordic Customs Leadership Team (CLT), as well as working closely with the other business areas within the group.

You will lead the customs teams in Denmark, establish targets, be responsible for monitoring and analyzing results, and take appropriate measures to strengthen operations. You will have personnel responsibility for department managers and office managers in the Aarhus and Hirtshals, as well as creating and maintaining good relationships with Maersk’s contacts within government authorities and corporate customers.

You will continuously work to streamline and improve processes, ensure that employees have the right skills, and make sure that your staff implement changes and improvements. Your goal will be to develop Denmark Operations and ensure that Maersk delivers high quality while using resources efficiently.
