Job summary

Maersk Customs Services is looking for a Customs Operations Manager Denmark who will lead the Danish operations, oversee offices in Aarhus and Hirtshals, and work with the Nordic leadership team to ensure high-quality, efficient customs operations. You will mentor managers, drive performance, and strengthen relationships with government authorities and corporate customers.

Qualifications

Extensive leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
Good understanding of logistics, transport and customs-clearance industries.
Strong knowledge of regulations and ability to support employees in making right decisions.

Strong customer and business-development skills with ability to build trusted relationships and identify growth opportunities.
Good verbal and written communication in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

Lead customs teams in Denmark, establish targets and monitor results.
Be responsible for staff in Aarhus and Hirtshals and maintain relationships with authorities and customers.
Streamline and improve processes and ensure employees have the right skills to implement changes.
Develop Denmark Operations and ensure high-quality, efficient service delivering value for customers.
