Job summary

The Porse group at the Finsen Laboratory/BRIC Institute is seeking 1-2 assistant professors to work on CRISPR-based modelling of human hematological syndromes and diseases. Ideally, the starting date is January 1st, 2027.

The successful candidates will join BRIC and the Porse group at Rigshospitalet, contributing to interdisciplinary, international research—training the next generation of scientists while advancing disease models and omics analyses.

Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences or equivalent research experience.
• Strong research experience evidenced by publications.
• Experience with CRISPR-based modelling in primary human cell culture.
• Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Collaborative skills and team orientation.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Interest in teaching at pre- and post-graduate levels.
