Job summary

SELECTED in Brande, Denmark, is seeking a confident copywriter to shape consumer-facing language across campaigns, e-commerce, newsletters, apps and social media. You will adapt the tone for different channels and audiences while keeping the brand voice consistent.

You will collaborate with graphic and creative teams, coordinate translations, and ensure legal communications are accurate and on-brand, with flexible hours and the option to work from home during a one-year maternity cover starting

• Coordinate translations across markets, from requesting translations to finalizing versions.
• Keep communication aligned with tone of voice and brand guidelines, including disclaimers and legal communication.

Job description

Would you like to shape how an international fashion brand speaks across everything from campaigns and e-commerce to social media and stores? Do you have a natural feel for language and know how to adapt a brand voice to different channels, audiences and purposes?

YOUR TEAM

You will join our Brand Identity team and work alongside creative colleagues across copy, graphic design, art direction, photography and other areas of brand communication. We work closely together across disciplines, sharing ideas and perspectives as the work takes shape. As our Copywriter, you will be part of that creative process, particularly collaborating with our graphic and creative teams to make sure words and visuals work together.

YOUR ROLE

Your role will focus on the consumer-facing side of SELECTED, with copy ranging from major campaigns to day-to-day communication across our digital and retail channels. You will move between different purposes, audiences and formats, adapting your writing to each.

• Write and adapt copy for our website, e-commerce content, newsletters, app and social media.
• Develop messaging and copy for campaigns and marketing initiatives, including POS and in-store communication.
• Create and update copy for external partners and marketplaces, including brand sites and brand homes.
• Coordinate translations across markets, from requesting translations to getting final versions ready for use.
• Keep communication aligned with our tone of voice and brand guidelines, including required DISCLAIMERS and legal communication.

• Have a strong sense of tone, nuance and storytelling, paired with excellent written English.
• Bring a genuine interest in fashion and solid knowledge of brands, products and the wider fashion landscape.
• Know how to adapt your writing to different channels and audiences, finding the right expression for each.
• Previous experience from the fashion industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
