Job summary

SELECTED, based in Denmark, is seeking an intern to join the Sales team in Brande from January 2027 for at least two months. You’ll work on market reviews, product research and prepare for sales meetings across Benelux and Rest of World.

You’ll gain hands-on experience by supporting market analysis, researching new opportunities, and helping roll out sales tools while collaborating with Merchandise Managers and Sales Coordinators. We move fast, help each other and expect you to get involved.

Qualifications

• Studying Marketing Management, International Sales & Marketing or similar commercially focused programme.
• Comfortable working with numbers and Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist with market reviews and product research.
• Research new markets and business opportunities from identifying potential customers to insights for the team.
• Follow up on business plans and help turn insights into next steps.
• Support rollout of sales tools across markets.
• Assist in preparing sales and collection meetings and ensure actions are completed.
• Explore how to strengthen SELECTED awareness in developing markets.

Curious about why a fashion brand performs differently from one market to the next? Would you like to work with the numbers, products and opportunities behind international sales? And are you ready to put what you've learned into practice in an international fashion business?

Then you may be the Intern we are looking for to join us from January 2027 and for a minimum of two months onwards.

At SELECTED, you'll get close to the commercial side of growing a fashion brand across very different markets. From market reviews and product research to sales meetings and business follow-up, you'll get a first-hand look at what international sales involves in practice.

YOUR TEAM

You'll join our Sales team at our headquarters in Brande, working with markets across Benelux and Rest of World.

Your closest colleagues will include Merchandise Managers and Sales Coordinators, but your network will quickly become wider than that. You'll also work with sales colleagues in our local markets and see how product, numbers and local market knowledge come together to drive the business.

We move fast, help each other and expect you to get involved. You're an intern, yes. But you're also part of the team.

YOUR ROLE

You'll become part of the day-to-day work of the sales team while also getting the chance to take ownership of specific tasks and projects of your own.

Your tasks could include:

• Helping prepare market reviews and supporting product research.
• Researching new markets and business opportunities, from identifying potential customers to bringing together insights that help the team assess the potential.
• Following up on business plans and helping turn insights into next steps.
• Supporting the rollout of sales tools across our markets.
• Taking part in the preparation of sales and collection meetings and helping make sure agreed actions actually happen.
• Exploring how we can strengthen knowledge of SELECTED in markets where the brand is still developing.

YOUR PROFILE

You're curious about sales, take initiative and enjoy figuring things out. You're comfortable working independently, but also know when to ask questions and involve others. Most importantly, you're keen to learn and ready to take responsibility for the tasks you're given.

We imagine that you:

• Are studying Marketing Management, International Sales & Marketing or a similar commercially focused programme.
• Are comfortable working with numbers and Excel. Power BI experience is a plus.
• Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.

You'll be working across countries and cultures, so an international mindset and an interest in fashion and the business behind it will take you far.

LOCATION:

Brande, Denmark. If you don't live nearby, there are good carpooling options to and from Brande with colleagues from several cities.
