Job summary

TotalEnergies in Copenhagen is seeking a Maritime Decarbonization Engineer to join the Energy & Fleet Transition Department. You will work on high-impact projects supporting decarbonization of global maritime transport and collaborate with experts across the maritime value chain.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, with knowledge of fuel production technologies and an interest in energy transition.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are expected.
• Interest in maritime decarbonization and energy transition is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support low-carbon fuels activities by assessing biofuels and e-fuels for maritime applications.
• Analyze barriers to production and deployment of low-carbon marine fuels.
• Contribute to projects on vessel performance, energy efficiency and ship design evolution.
• Provide technical insights to partners and TotalEnergies entities on decarbonization topics.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations, business models and roadmaps.
• Prepare analyses and reports for project reviews and stakeholder discussions.
