Job summary
Maersk Container Industry (MCI) seeks a skilled Control System Engineer to join our Application Software Team. You will design and specify control strategies and software for our refrigeration systems, translating system behaviour into clear requirements for embedded software development.
You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers, contributing to energy-efficient reefer technology on a global stage.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Experience with control systems engineering
- Experience with modelling and simulation tools e.g. Simulink
- Knowledge of control design, estimation, and system-level thinking
- Fluency in English, Danish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Translating system behaviour and performance requirements into clear specifications for the embedded software development team
- Defining and specifying new system features and control strategies for our refrigeration controller
- Collaborating closely with embedded software engineers, hardware engineers, and external partners
- Supporting troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
- Providing technical input to service and quality teams
