Job summary

Siteimprove is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager for Content Platform in Copenhagen. You will own ingestion systems that feed multiple product lines, guiding two engineering teams and collaborating with Product and UX.

You will set architectural direction, modernize through cloud-native approaches (including EKS), and define KPIs for throughput, cost, and reliability to drive measurable impact. You will work hybrid from our Copenhagen office, with occasional travel and a focus on

Qualifications

7+ years in backend engineering with distributed systems expertise.
Experience with high-throughput data ingestion or crawling at scale.
Proven leadership in managing engineers and technical leaders.
Track record in cloud-native infrastructure and scalable interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own Content Platform ingestion surface including availability, throughput, cost and delivery predictability.
Drive architectural direction across cross-team contracts and event-driven ingestion paths.
Lead two Copenhagen teams and align with Product and UX on goals and constraints.
Ensure delivery under pressure and measurable impact through defined KPIs.
Grow engineers through performance and career development decisions.
