You will coordinate with clients and internal teams in Denmark or Spain, leveraging your deep knowledge of pharma content processes to deliver measurable impact across the value chain.
As our next Content Excellence Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. We offer specialised management consulting services, working with top-tier life sciences companies as well as biotech startups — locally and globally. As a Content Excellence Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work closely with clients and colleagues to address complex challenges across the life sciences value chain. You will take ownership of your work and contribute to delivering solutions that create real, lasting impact.
We are expanding our Commercial Content Excellence team to match the growing needs of the industry, and we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert to help us continue leading the way in commercial and medical content for life science clients. Do you want to be part of an experienced and multicultural team? This might be your opportunity.
The Content Excellence practice area combines highly specialised business knowledge of the pharma commercial domain with in-depth technology expertise, to maximise the value our clients create from their digital platforms. The team specialises in core Commercial and Medical Content processes and supports platforms such as Veeva Vault PromoMats and Vault Medical, together with the wider commercial content ecosystem – content authoring platforms, digital asset management systems, and the emerging AI capabilities around them.
As a Content Excellence SME, your activities span both delivery and portfolio. You are the person clients and colleagues turn to when a content process question needs an authoritative answer, and the person who turns what we learn on projects into repeatable, sellable offerings.
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious specialist who is as comfortable shaping an offering as running a client workshop. On top of this, you have the following competences:
The position will ideally be based in Denmark or Spain.
Founded in 2015, BASE life science is a business and technology consulting company working exclusively in life sciences, built on a simple purpose: grow our people, and deliver real impact for our customers.
We don't think AI is a feature you bolt onto existing systems — we think it's the layer through which a life sciences company's strategy actually gets executed, end to end. Most of the industry is still proving AI can do one task at a time, function by function, pilot by pilot. We're building toward something bigger: AI that runs across clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial work instead of stopping at the edges of a single application.
With headquarters in Denmark and offices across Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the US, we work with top‑10 pharma and ambitious biotechs alike, and with technology partners including Veeva, Salesforce, IQVIA, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and Amass — turning that belief into deployed, compliant, sellable solutions, not slideware.
At BASE, you work on meaningful, complex challenges at the intersection of technology, science, and business. We trust our people with real responsibility and support them in turning ambition into impact — grounded in five core values: team spirit, trust, openness, ambition, and execution.
